About the Council
The mission of the Women's Health Council is to utilize its collective leadership and commitment to be a voice for Andrews Women's Hospital and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth.
The Council will empower women to become knowledgeable and proactive about health throughout every stage of life. It will build awareness of the organization and its programs. With a unique group of approximately 75 women, the Women's Health Council is dedicated to improving the health of local women and their families. Women are chosen for their inspiring qualities, strong commitment to the Fort Worth community, and their interest in women's health and its impact upon the family. These community and business leaders will assist in introducing women to the services and programs offered by the hospital – connecting women and their families to comprehensive health care they can depend on throughout their lives.
The Women's Health Council membership participate in four luncheons annually. Luncheons include guest speakers and presenters to provide up-to-date, relevant information for the membership.
The Women's Health Council is a sponsorship organization, which means a prospective member needs to be nominated by a current member of the Women's Health Council if she wishes to join. The nomination process occurs in February each year.
