Beyond the Bag

Beyond the Bag is hosted by the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation annually to raise funds for the critical non-medical cancer support services provided by the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center.

The celebratory evening is filled with dinner, live entertainment, and high caliber auction items, in both the silent and live auctions. Beyond the Bag has raised over $6.2 million over the past 15 years!

We are honored and deeply grateful to have Hilary Shipman and Maggie Shipman serve as co-chairs of the 2027 Beyond the Bag event.

As a mother-daughter team and both breast cancer survivors, Hilary and Maggie bring a deeply personal connection to the mission of Beyond the Bag. Their shared journey has strengthened their commitment to supporting others facing cancer and to ensuring no one walks that path alone. Now cancer-free, they are dedicated to helping provide the life-changing, non-medical services offered through the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center, bringing hope, healing and comfort to individuals and families throughout our community.
