Imagine a world where every patient, regardless of their financial situation, type of cancer diagnosis or location of medical care (Fort Worth or beyond), has access to the support they need to navigate their journey – now and always. This vision is more than just a dream; it is a possibility that you can continue to help turn into a reality.
Since opening their doors in 2010, the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center has provided free non-medical services to 17,000 individuals with a cancer diagnosis. From emotional support to assistance with understanding complex treatment plans, our patient navigators are there every step of the way, from diagnosis to survivorship. The impact these services have on patients’ lives is transformative.
Although the number of patients turning to the Center for guidance continues to increase, we are confident we can continue to meet the needs of our community, with friends like you.
Beyond the Bag, hosted by Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation, has raised over $3.8 million to assist in enabling certified lay and nurse navigators at the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center to walk alongside anyone affected by cancer.
We invite you to partner with us for a special evening including dinner, dancing, live entertainment, and fantastic silent and live auctions. Your support will play a crucial role in expanding the Center’s patient navigator endowment, ensuring that future generations can continue to access the exceptional care and support for which the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center is known. Thank you for considering this heartfelt request to join other supporters in securing a future where no one has to face cancer alone.
