IMB Watson Health names Baylor Scott & White Health System to its annual Top 15 Health Systems list.

IBM Watson Health, a data, analytics, and technology partner for the health industry, has named Baylor Scott & White Health System to its annual Top 15 Health Systems list.

Health systems and hospitals named to these lists showed better results on performance indicators intended to measure clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient experience.

Metrics included survival rates, patient complications, healthcare-associated infections, 30-day mortality and 30-day readmission rates, length of stay, throughput in emergency rooms, inpatient expenses, profitability, and ratings from patients.
