Celebrating one year of Engle: a milestone anniversary

In October, Engle celebrated her one-year anniversary working in the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center at Baylor Scott & White – Fort Worth.

Supported by funding raised at the 2023 Beyond the Bag event, Engle has made a difference for patients, families and care team members alike.  Happy anniversary, Engle!

“The infusion clinic has been my “third place” for a while now. While I enjoy the friendly staff and meeting new people, it is a challenge to get motivated and go for yet another treatment. That changed one day when I met Engle. It feels like the stress is just lifted away when she comes in to visit. Not only when she’s with me, but also seeing her with the other patients in the clinic. It truly feels like we have been visited by an angel.”
