Kate Lummis Norris is the founder of Lone Oak Trust Company and currently serves as the President and CEO. Her experience includes serving as Director of Development and Compliance for a Fort Worth RIA in addition to almost 10 years as Senior Vice President of Trust and Estate Administration at a private trust company in Houston, Texas. Prior to her career in the financial industry, Kate worked as a project manager for the Houston Ballet and an international retail management firm located in London, England.
A native of Fort Worth, Kate graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor and Master of Arts in history. She is a graduate of the Rice University CFP® Certificate Program, the Texas Bankers Association Graduate Trust School, and completed the University of Texas Human Dimensions of Organizations Master’s program.
Kate serves on the Board of The Women’s Center and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, is a Trustee of The Frill Foundation and the JW Couch Foundation, and is a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth.
She lives in Fort Worth with her husband, Michael, and stepson, Will, as well as their three dogs, Gus, Lilly, and Max.
